Land Rover has designed a new luxury SUV with off-roading options and more performance than most competitors in the midsize class. In addition, there are several trims available. The standard engine is a supercharged monster with V6 horsepower. While this doesn’t get the best fuel economy, you can get more efficiency with the turbodiesel option. These cleaner fuel engines get up to 26 mpg on the highway.

The Discovery Sport was also just announced. This new model will feature a semi-hybrid Ingenium engine that gets up to 250PS on a lithium-ion battery. The Sport will also have a sturdy subframe thanks to the Premium Transverse Architecture design. All models can have an off-road package installed, including the Terrain Response 2 and All Terrain Progress Control.

Test drives are the best way to see the Land Rover models up close and personal. You can schedule your experience at Land Rover Fort Wayne.
